Our carpenter visits your home to take precise measurements and understand your space. We then produce a detailed sketch of the proposed carpentry, you review and approve before anything goes to production.
Fabrication & delivery
Once you’ve confirmed the design, materials and configuration, fabrication begins. Most pieces are delivered and installed within 2 weeks. Countertops follow approximately 1 week after cabinet installation.
Milestone progressive payments protect you throughout. You only pay at agreed stages, never a full upfront payment.

My budget is small. Can you still help?
Absolutely. During consultation we discuss your budget openly and work backwards from there, adjusting scope, material choices or configurations to fit what you’re comfortable spending. Once the project starts, we hold to the agreed prices with no unexpected extras.
What is the delivery lead time?
Typically 2 weeks from confirmation of design, materials and configuration. During peak renovation season it may extend to 3 to 4 weeks. Countertops are measured and fabricated after cabinet installation, usually delivered 1 week later. WhatsApp us for current lead times.
What should I do before carpentry works begin?
Remove all items from existing cabinets or wardrobes before the team arrives. If you have a gas hob, contact your gas supplier to turn off and detach the gas supply before the kitchen cabinet works begin. This is a legal requirement for gas works in Singapore.
Will I be able to cook during kitchen cabinet works?
Measurements for new cabinets can only be taken after existing ones are removed, so your kitchen will be out of use for approximately 3 to 4 weeks. A portable induction cooker and foldable table can keep you going during this period if needed.
Do your carpenters bring their own tools?
Yes, our carpenters bring all necessary tools and equipment. You don’t need to provide anything. Just ensure the space is clear and accessible before they arrive.
Can I choose my own handles and knobs?
Yes. Our default finish is groove handles, but we offer a range of standard knobs and handle options. If you have a specific style in mind, let us know during the design consultation and we’ll accommodate it.
What materials do you use for kitchen cabinets?
Our kitchen cabinets use high-quality melamine or laminate board for the carcass and doors, durable, moisture-resistant and available in hundreds of finishes. We use Blum or Hettich soft-close hinges and drawer runners as standard. Countertops can be laminate, quartz or sintered stone depending on your preference and budget.
Do you provide a warranty on carpentry works?
Yes. All carpentry works come with a warranty covering materials and workmanship. The specific warranty period is stated in your official invoice before work commences. We stand behind our work. If anything isn’t right, we return to fix it at no charge.
Do you do both HDB and condo carpentry?
Yes, we handle carpentry for HDB flats (BTO and resale), condominiums and landed properties. Each property type has different layout considerations and we’re experienced across all of them. HDB carpentry works must comply with HDB renovation guidelines, which our team is familiar with.
How is your pricing different from an interior designer?
Interior designers typically mark up contractor rates by 20 to 40% as their margin, on top of their design fee. At Home Expo Asia, you engage our in-house carpentry team directly, the same quality of work, at the actual contractor rate. No ID fee, no markup, 0% GST.
